A Million Little Things Cast Members Announced
The ABC drama a million little things is about a group of friends bonded through shared experiences. When one of them commits suicide, the others struggle to deal with their loss and to understand why they’re so close together.
The series is a tearjerker and an inspirational reminder that human connection can be the key to a happy life. The show also explores a range of significant issues.
David Giuntoli
David Giuntoli is one of the main actors in the wildly popular ABC series A Million Little Things, playing Eddie Saville. He’s gained many new fans thanks to his work on the show, but he has been in the acting business for years.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Giuntoli hit his growth spurt late, and he gravitated toward the arts rather than sports at school, where he performed in plays. He eventually went to Indiana University in Bloomington and pursued a career in finance, but his heart always longed for acting.
After a successful stint on reality shows like Road Rules: South Pacific (MTV 2003) and Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Giuntoli moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue an acting career. He joined the Echo Theater Company and has since appeared in various minor roles on TV and film.
Romany Malco
Romany Malco, whose breakout role was the trash-talking womanizer Jay in Judd Apatow’s Universal hit The 40-Year-Old Virgin, has been tapped for a lead in ABC’s A Million Little Things. The comedy will star David Giuntoli, Ron Livingston, and James Roday Rodriguez as best friends and Boston Bruins fans who become closest after getting stuck in an elevator together.
While the premise of A Million Little Things has some similarities to the mega-popular 13 Reasons Why, it feels far more realistic and somewhat responsible in terms of its mental health themes; unlike that series, which many believed was unintentionally glamorizing suicide, this one encourages people to open up and talk about their problems.

The quartet of friends — big-shot businessman Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston), wisecracking cancer survivor Gary Mendez (James Roday), music teacher Eddie (David Giuntoli), and filmmaker Rome Howard (Romany Malco) — are pulled together by their shared experiences and their mutual love of the Boston Bruins ice hockey team. But their perfect bubble of boredom is shattered when Jon commits suicide in the first episode.
Grace Park
Grace Park joined the A Million Little Things cast as Katherine Kim (formerly Saville) in Season 4. She is a Canadian-American actress who has starred in several films and TV shows. She is known for her role as Kono Kalakaua on Hawaii Five-0 and as Lt. Sharon Agathon in Battlestar Galactica.
She was a fan favorite for her role as Kono and has won numerous awards for her work on both shows. She is also a passionate philanthropist, running 250 kilometers across the Gobi Desert to raise money for children’s heart surgery.
After a salary dispute with CBS, she and fellow Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim left the show in 2017. The company paid them 10-15% less than their white co-stars, Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan.
Cameron Esposito
Cameron Esposito is a stand-up comedian, actress, and writer featured on CBS, NBC, Comedy Central, E!, TBS, and IFC. She co-creators the hit comedy Take My Wife and hosts her standup podcast, Put Your Hands Together, at LA’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
She is also a bestselling author of her memoir Save Yourself: From Catholic Upbringing to Standup Comedian. She shares her journey from Catholic upbringing to an outspoken lesbian standup comic in a book that tackles sexuality, gender, and equality.
Cameron Esposito started her comedy career in Chicago at local venues, including the Lincoln Lodge and Chicago Underground Comedy. She was one of the first queer-identifying comics to make an impact on the city’s comedy scene. She’s toured nationally and has written for Comedy Central, VH1, and ABC.
Allison Miller
Allison Miller stars on ABC’s A Million Little Things as Maggie Bloom. The show follows a group of friends who bond under challenging circumstances.
After their friend Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston) dies by suicide, they must re-evaluate their lives. Each has a different story, but they share a love of music.
It’s The Ultimate Connection.
During A Million Little Things’ fifth and final season, the friends face many challenges — humorous and heartbreaking. But their love for one another helps them through every bump in the road.
Miller also made her TV directorial debut in the April 27 episode “60 Minutes.” We talked to her about the challenge of directing an episode that tackles many storylines and what being part of such a tight-knit cast was like.
